Job

1. The job of the Technical shop is development and improvement of new instrument and apparatus for research works. The work should be done, as a rule, with cooperation of the researcher.

Request

1. The researcher who would like to request should come directly to the room.
2. After discussion and agreement on the request with the technician in charge, the researcher fill the prescribed form and sign it to complete the request.
3. Following requests will not be accepted.

   - Repairs or modification of equipments

   - Repairs of instruments or apparatus for experiment except those produced by the Technical shop

   - Production of a shelf, stand or box

   - Imitation of commercial products

   - Glass work

   - Production of instruments or apparatus for clinical use

Production procedure

1. Production will be done in order of acceptance.
2. As a rule, the researcher will not allowed to use the room or processing equipments. Instruments or apparatus will not be lent. Parts or materials alone will not be provided.
3. The researcher may be asked to work by oneself on simple process in the production.

Materials

1. Materials available for general use will be purchased by the Technical shop and kept as stock.
2. Materials other than the stock should be prepared by the researcher.

Charge

1. The production cost of 1000 yen will be charged for every half day over the time taken for the production.
2. As a cost for expendable supplies, 20% of expense for materials used will be added and charged together as the material cost.
